Help local families get ready for the school year! Bring your gently used TK–12 clothing and shoes, or stop by and pick up some "new-to-you" items for your little ones and teens.

August 16 | Non-Profit Spotlight on Senior Concerns

Join us as we recognize Senior Concerns, a local nonprofit that has been serving older adults and family caregivers in our community for 50 years.

We'll be joined by:

Martha Shapiro, LCSW
Director of Programs, Senior Concerns

Learn about the organization's valuable programs, resources, and services available to seniors and their families.

We'll also be collecting donations to benefit their Adult Day Program, a licensed care facility serving older adults with cognitive and physical impairments.

Monetary donations welcome! Supply donations also can include:

• Acrylic paints

• Paint brushes

• Watercolor pens

• Paint pens

• Colored Expo markers

• Ultra-fine black Sharpies

• Colored paper

• Cardstock

• Watercolor paper

• Air-dry clay

• Canvases (any size)

• Balloons

We'll cover:
How national postcard campaigns work
Why they're effective
Best practices
Plenty of time to practice writing postcards together

With school board elections approaching, this is an event you won't want to miss. See the film and meet the subjects.
