Breaking News- Gorell's Campaign Manager/Former Intern Arrested For Vandalism

Thousand Oaks Police arrested Camarillo resident Blake Davis this morning, August 4th, 2026. Davis previously served as an intern for Ventura County Supervisor Jeff Gorell and reportedly worked as Gorell's re-election campaign manager. Authorities have indicated the arrest is connected to an investigation involving alleged felony vandalism and destruction of campaign materials associated with Gorell's opponent, Mark Perryman.

We believe that Gorell may have paid Davis and his friend, Branson Lewis, to carry out the crime. We demand that Ventura County District Attorney Erik Nasarenko investigate these crimes and charge all parties to the full extent possible. That includes an investigation in Supervisor Gorell.
